The first Sunday of November is Zero Tasking Day. This is a fun holiday that encourages us to relax. You can celebrate this day and encourage others to relax.

For Service businesses:

  1. Write up a blog post or quick newsletter encouraging relaxing activities related to your industry.
  2. For example, a chimney sweep business could send a video or slideshow of a crackling fireplace. Post your video on your blog, YouTube channel, Pinterest page, Facebook page or Instagram story.
  3. Send an email to your list with a link to your video. Here's a great video to use, 10 Hours of Relaxing Music - Calming Piano Music, Sleep Music, Soothing Relaxation

For Retail businesses:

  1. Play relaxing audio in the background.
  2. Provide calming scents with and oil diffuser, wax melts or other scented candles. Fall scents and Pumpkin Spice are super popular!
  3. Print calming reflections and include in shoppers purchase bags or place on a tray with a 'take one' sign.
  4. Serve some tea!

Keep in mind that it is not a vehicle for selling. Just a quick 'hi' to offer value and to be memorable!
Then, you and your clients can relax!
